Other Club competitions

Three Club competitions are held periodically during the season, and are usually judged externally.

This year we have 2 themed competitions, the details of which and the hand in dates for are on the competitions page.

Points are accumulated in the two categories as follows:

• 1st = 7 points;
• 2nd = 5 points;
• 3rd = 3 points;
• commended (and highly commended) = 2 points;
• each unplaced entry = 1 point.

There are awards for the highest aggregate scores at the end of the season.

Submitting entries

How to submit up to 3 digital image entries

1. Each entry must have a title, included with the filename and the photographers name.
2. Entries must be submitted in jpeg format, sized at 150 dpi and, regardless of whether the image is in portrait or landscape format, not greater than 1600 pixels on the horizontal edge and 1200 pixels on the vertical edge.
3. Entries must not pre-date the date set on the competitions page, and cannot have been submitted in other Club competitions.
4. Entries may be submitted as either a digital image or a print, but not both.
5. Maximum of 3 entries.
6. Entries are submitted to the Digital Competitions Secretary, either by email or other media as advised by or agreed with the Secretary.

How to submit up to 3 print entries.

1. Each entry must have a title.
2. Entries are be anonymous, but the title should be on a label on the back of the print.
3. Prints must be mounted, minimum print size 7” x 5”, maximum mount size 20” x 16”.
4. Entries must not pre-date the dates set on the competitions page, and cannot have been submitted in other Club competitions.
5. A digital copy of the print also needs to be provided.
6. Maximum of 3 entries.
7. Entries may be submitted as either a digital image or a print, but not both.
8. Entries are submitted to the Print Competitions Secretary as advised by or agreed with the Secretary.
