Club Nights are on Mondays, 7.15 pm for a 7.30 start. Monday Meetings are held either in the Dalesman Club in Leyburn or online via Zoom. Please check our Facebook page for the latest information. The season runs from September to May each year.

Autumn Programme

September 2026

  • Mon 7th – Registration and discussion of work/programme. Welcome new members. Show images from the summer and club outings. Bring images on a memory stick or email to photos@wensleydalecameraclub.co.uk in advance.
  • Mon 14th – Presentation on “Street Photography” from Rob
  • Sat 19th – Club outing to Saltaire with Rob. Train from Garsdale to Saltaire. Walking from Saltaire to Bingley station for return.
  • Mon 21st – Yorkshire Photographic Union Assembly Presentation on the 2026 Competition.
  • Sat 26th/27th – Masham Sheep Fair outing
  • Mon 28th – Bring entries for consideration into the North Yorkshire and South Durham Photographic Association (NYSDPA) Photography Competition. Email to photos@wensleydalecameraclub.co.uk in advance please.

October 2026

  • Mon 5th – Review and Decide the Final choice for NYSDPA entries.
  • Mon 12th – Presentation on how to build your own photographic portfolio using Adobe Portfolio, included with Lightroom subscriptions.
  • Mon 19th – “Insects and Bugs” critique evening led by Ken. Email photos of your creepy crawlies to photos@wensleydalecameraclub.co.uk.
  • Mon 26th – Hand in your entries for the STREET images club competition. Email copies of all entries to photos@wensleydalecameraclub.co.uk and bring in physical prints on the night. Show and Tell evening with images from members.

November 2026

  • Mon 2nd – We are having a quiz on the topic of “photo techniques”
  • Mon 9th – Presentation by Ruth Grindrod on Landscape photography. See her work here.
  • Mon 16th – Practical Evening on Lightpainting by Andrew Fletcher. Bring your cameras with you! Hand in for the “Presidents Choice” competition. Theme is “Natures Architecture”. This is purely for fun, no points on offer. Maximum of 4 digital images per person. No printing required.
  • Sat 21st – Keighley Day
  • Mon 23rd – “Street” Competition Results night. Reminder re entries for Staplehurst Camera Club competition in December.
  • Fri 27th – Presentation of NYSDPA results in Stockton.
  • Mon 30th – Images from the trip to Jo Coates Farm in August 2026.

December 2026

  • Mon 7th – Look at the Prints from the NYSDPA competition close up.
  • Mon 14th – Christmas Social Evening
