The venue for this year’s exhibition was the upstairs function room at the Leyburn Bolton Arms, which was also the exhibition’s generous sponsor.
A small but perfectly formed organising committee, aided and abetted by some well chosen ringers, worked extremely hard to put on a good show, pictures of which can be seen below.
The show’s content came from three-quarters of the Club’s membership and was testament to the range and depth of talent in the Club. In addition, a slide show of images from the Club’s archive was on display.
To raise much-needed funds, prints and cards were promoted for sale, as well as daily raffles.
We are grateful to D’Arcy Wyvill for opening the exhibition at our preview evening. Also to Ivor Thornton-Grace who offered to take shots of anyone who cared to sit for a portrait, an attraction that sadly was not as popular as we had hoped.
On balance, a great start to what we hope will be a new Club tradition. Thank you for supporting.
